FIREHAWK MANAGER RAMMED DOWN BY TRIKE


          Paniqui, Tarlac- Firehawk Manager Noel P. Mangabat, a well-known dealer of tires and car washing station was runned down by an over-speeding tricycle along M.H. Del Pilar St., vicinity of Brgy. Pob. Norte, Paniqui, Tarlac.
Initial investigation conducted by PO3 Eduardo F. Torres disclosed that the incident took place at about 10:30AM of September 27, 2204. Prior to the accident, the victim was busy washing a van when a tricycle driven by Ramil F. Batalla, 25 years old, married, a resident of Brgy. Coral, Paniqui, Tarlac, and a holder of student permit #SPR 05503961 side-swiped the victim. The suspect was seen overtaking at the right side of the road despite of traffic congestion in the area. The victim did not noticed the over-taking tricycle and it was too late for him to react. The tricycle hit him in his right leg thereby causing serious physical injuries. He was rushed to the nearby Rayos-Valentin Hospital for medical treatment. Based on the result of the medical findings issued by his attending physician, Dr. Raul Macareg, the victim suffered fractured bones and was advised to undergo 60 days complete bed rest (CBR). Noel P. Mangabat was assisted by NBI Press Corps where he was member. “Brod, masakit pa, pero OK na me, kaya lang robotic na ang right leg ko. “ Noel whispers to his comrades.
Further investigation disclosed that the operator/owner of the tricycle was Rolly L. Linsao with postal address at # 26 Del Valle ,tacion, Paniqui, Tarlac. Investigators disclosed the plate no. as RJ4017 withmotor number KCS02997-044785E, chassis number KCS01-044785 with body # 1703.
PCINSP Edgar Dipus Togonon-Officer –in-Charge after determining the guilt of the suspect filed a Criminal Case for reckless imprudence resulting to serious physical injuries. The case has been filed at the Paniqui Municipal Trial Court under the sala of the Hon. Judge Gregorio L. Rosete with Criminal Case No. 117-04 [back]
