The Tarlac Headlines "BUILDING THE NATION THRU FREEDOM OF THE PRESS"              Before the launching of the maiden issue of Tarlac Headlines last April 26, 2004, the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief Honorio M. Alonzo went through a series of brainstorming deliberations with a lot of decision makers behind Tarlac Headlines. First among the list of priorities considered was the return of investment. Mr. Alonzo defended convincingly that the profit side of the new business venture will come in later, but , the “vision” to impart information, wisdom and knowledge to the general public through print was considered most all. “Public Service” is the foremost “mission” of the publisher being a civic-leader himself who is the incumbent provincial chairman of the “Citizen’s Foundation for the Prevention of Crime & Injustices, Provincial Director –Media Affairs of Bantay-Bayan Inc.-Tarlac Chapter, President of NBI Press Corps-Tarlac, Past Master of Anchor Lodge FM & AM , and a member of Rotary-Northern Tarlac.              The publisher has a strong conviction on public service. He believes that thru print media-we can build a stronger republic-as the acronym “Building the Nation thru Freedom of the Press” was adopted.              With a collegiate background of newspaper making and master degrees in public administration and business administration at the Ateneo de Davao and Tarlac State University, the publisher/editor decided on coming up with the first issue in April 26, 2004 and gain favorable responses from the general public. The overwhelming reception from the different sectors of the community challenged the publisher to go global and for a faster transmission of information and services this website is thus formulated. The management is being backed-up by lawyers-fellow Masons as legal counsels; Atty. Crispiniano E. Lamorena, Atty. Erundino C. Cajucom, Atty. Rodil C. Millado and Atty. Christopehr A. Basilio. Friends from the print and broadcast Galicano M. Datu, Alfredo L. Camus Jr., Mark D. Manabat and Frank S. Melegrito were also enlisted as part of the associate publisher and editorial team. Edward U. Bautista-Marketing/Operations Manager, Manuel A. Sambo, Cartoon Artist and Ely Garingo, Photographer/Reporter.
