Luisita resumes milling operations as tension eases

NBI PRESS CORPS, TARLAC CITY-NBI-TARDO Chief Atty. Norman A. Taloza recommends to the City Prosecutor Claudio C. Dayaon about a murder case in violation of Article 248 of the Revised Penal code of the Philippines. The case filed with IS No. 04-1948 is against Celso Lorenzo y Mendoza @ “BUDDHA”, a resident of Block 3, Brgy. San Nicolas, Tarlac City, pursuant to the sworn complaint filed by Fernando Acuna y Fabilyaran, a neighbor of victim, and a resident of the abovementioned address.
Investigation conducted by Ernesto M. Bondoc-Special Investigator of NBI Tarlac District Office, Tarlac City, disclosed that on the 13th of September 2004 more or less 3:00 o’clock in the morning, subject surreptitiously entered on the ceiling of victim’s house who is 26 years of age and a mother of three children. Subject thereupon, treacherously stabbed victim twice (two times) on the chest ,taking advantage of superior strength and darkness resulting to the untimely death of the victim.
Further investigation revealed that before this incident occurred, subject and complainant had a verbal tussle in connection with illegal game cards “Tong hit”, wherein subject threatened complainant (victim’s husband) saying; “Putang ina n’yo mga Bisaya kayo, pakalat-kalat kayo dito, pagpapatayin ko kayo!” By 2:00 o’clock AM, Fernando Acuna was at the Public Market working as a scavenger (kargador) had just left the house where his wife and three children were sleeping. However, a few minutes thereafter, his neighbors informed him that his wife was stabbed, he immediately went home and there he saw his wife sprawled with her own blood, lifeless and dead.
